October 8, 2012 by suzannelazear

Alright, I know we’ve already featured Clay and Susan Griffith’s third book in the Vampire Empire series, THE KINGMAKERS.

We already know this series is made of awesome.

However, PYR sent me a lovely finished copy–and I want to give it to one of you. Want to win it? Tell me in the comment box below why you need this book. Feel free to be creative.

One entry per person. Open internationally. Closes October 14, 2012 at 11:59 PM PST.

This is going to sound impossible, but you MUST believe me! I’m being held hostage by vampires. YES, Vampires. They seem to be convinced that this series holds the answers to them conquering the world. Unfortunately, for them, their crazed Vamper religion prevents them from shopping online (Could you imagine the horror of such a thing?!) and all of the bookstores close before the sun sets. Please, you much pick me as your winner…. My life depends on it…

I’d love to win a copy of this. I’ve been a Greyfriar fangurl since I read the first book and a blurb from my review of The Riftwalker is on the back cover of The Kingmakers. Money is tight with my oldest getting prepared for college (senior year is incredibly expensive) and I haven’t been able to get the finished book yet. Thanks for the giveaway:)

I have the first 2 books and have discovered a secret code the Griffiths have left in the story. This code has the answers to partially prevent a real-life invasion of vampires, but I need to the third book to complete the message and save all people with the initials “S.L.” Please help me protect at least a fraction of the human population from the oncoming conversions and deaths.

I need this book because I have never read anything by these authors. I think I need to change that.

I need this book because I’ve read the other Vampire Empire books and I adored them. I have to find out what happens next. :D

I need this book because I love reading steampunk novels, or anything that even remotely involves steampunk. And as it happens, I’m fresh out of things to read from this genre. I’d love to win a copy—thanks for hosting the giveaway! :)

You should consider me because I have pledged to read every book that boasts a cover by artist Chris McGrath. My Goodreads list is stacked with his moody awesomeness. Yes, I judge books by their covers, sue me!

Ok, everyone else has been really creative–not sure I can do much better. Oh, I know. I set a goal of reading every Pyr book ever published back at the beginning of the summer. I’ve read eight of them so far and have started on the ninth. Getting this one for free will help with my goal and will help my pocketbook too.

No trying for the sympathy vote or anything, but I’ve spent a lot of time in the hospital this year for my damnable Crohn’s Disease. Hopefully I can avoid further stays, but nothing passes the time like a good fantasy book to keep one company! I just recently started reading PYR books and can’t believe how superb the authors I’ve read have been! PYR is quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers and I love the book shelf space filled with my cherished PYR collection. Help me add another to my budding love affair!

Jeremy, if I can’t win, I would be glad to see you win. During the first years of my marriage, my husband had to be in the hospital a lot for his Crohn’s Disease. Unfortunately, he ended up having to have an ileostomy done fifteen years ago, but has been fine since then. (no more hospital stays) I’ve heard the medications have gotten much better over the years. Hopefully, you will be able to avoid further stays yourself. Best wishes!
